For the first time- all of the gas stations near me have posted that their fuels contain 10% ethanol. (prior years a few did not- or at least didn't post that they were)
Is this going to cause seal problems during winter storage?
Most major stations have been that way for years...nothing will change that now. Guys run E85 w/o problems. You could check out some fuel stable for boat applications, they are suppose to have something in there for the ethanol.
Shouldn't be a problem. Vettes have been sitting for long periods with Ethanol gas for quite a few years now.
Make sure you use a fuel stabilizer product to keep the gasoline from gumming up your injectors and other fuel system components.
If you are used to using dry gas when storing gasoline fueled vehicles don't do it if the gasoline has 10% Ethanol. Dry gas is an alcohol and adding it to the fuel could cause the gas to have too high a percentage of alcohol and thus cause damage.
