DD Question
I've seen a lot of options lately regarding the various DD designs forum members have installed. I like the CF, I like the half-wrap leather and I like the extra gauge bezels that have been installed.
However, I was curious whether anyone opted to remove the OEM cup holder/lid altogether? I really don't use mine and was wondering whether the bezel would look good with it smoothed over. Especially if it is highlighted with a half-leather wrap.
Anyone try this? Pics?

I know I've seen the cup holder removed but not sure if I've seen it on the half leather wrap version. I would just message the makers/sellers of them and ask. They usually keep photos of the different versions they've done.

I've only seen it removed and a gauge installed there at an angle!
I get what you're saying, I think it is a good idea - I rarely if ever use my cup holder and when I do it only holds my phone

I like the lines of this Dennis. Looks good without the cup holder. I like the idea of the IPOD mount, however if the NAV system touch screen operates the IPOD, I'm still leaning towards having the IPOD wired into the glovebox.
