Thoughts on a White C5?

White C5's look amazing when paint is glossy......
Problem I have (in my head) is when I was a kid my mom had a white Fiero which always looked extra PLASTICKY in the dull or dirty white paint, so if I ever get one it will have to be polished and waxed weekly.
I did fall in love with a white ZR1 last year at the Corvette Funfest in Illinois
and this awesome well optioned C6 from around my hometown in Indiana

There's currently talk up in the zr1 section on the recent popularity of white for that model. Lots of good pics too. I'm not sure if it's a new color for that model or not but it's a shame they ever dropped it for the c6z. Outside of the ron fellows that is, which limits you to an 07. I'm no c6 guy but I've heard 08 and up is where you want to be for the z. Sure seems like any time the topic comes up there is an outpouring of white corvette enthusiasts.

When I was shopping for my car I wanted pewter or silver. Nothing on the island. Found a white one in Vancouver took the ferry ride over just to drive as many as I could before I bought. Guy made me a deal I couldn't pass on. I thought he was having a hard time selling because of the colour but the more I look and drive the more I love it.

white wouldn't have been my first choice, but I got a really good deal, and let's face it, a Corvette is a Corvette. haha. I wasn't gonna be picky. But the white is definitely growing on me, and after 2 of my past cars being black, I love the car actually staying clean for more than 4 hours after I wash it. haha. And I just got the windows tinted a couple days ago, looks sooooo much better.
