Back in the Spring, I did the claybar thing, then Show Car Glaze and then Carnuba. Even those that see my car quite often asked what I did to it. I even won a local car show to boot.
Nice looking car, really jealous about your garage....I would never go in the house if I had THAT.

Thanks. I've waited 40 some years to finally get the "man cave" I want. I'm doing a little at a time, framing and insulation is done, wood stove going in next week, will start panelling the walls, drop the ceiling, then tile the floor. Hopefully I can get it completed by spring.
Norm,
I like your floor recess for your scissor lift, but I'm wondering if you have any concerns with water getting into the recess and causing problems for the lift. For example, if you had to park over the lift (you may have enough floor area that this isn't a concern) and drove the car in after being in the rain, do you think this would be a problem?
Thanks and good luck with the rest of your project

Thanks Wayne. Water collecting in the pit is not an issue. By the time I park a vehicle over top the lift, most of the water has pretty much dropped off underneath. Where I get some water is the drops rolling off the finish down the sides and on the floor, and that is so insignificant, I don't pay any attention.
When I designed the pole barn, I had to ensure the cement under the lift was load bearing. I had 12'' of concrete poured under the pit area.
