Default Centerforce Clutch Issues

Bought a 97 C5 back in Feb, clutch was original with 60k on it. Would slip a little in the higher gears so I had it changed to a centerforce dual friction. The new clutch has always grabbed a little high but was solid and smooth. The other night I left a light hard and the car spun in first, normally if I shift to second and stay in it, it will continue to spin through second. This time however I hit second and the rpms went right up as if I wasnt even in gear and I let off right away. Then going into thrid normally I had to wait a few seconds because the clutch was stuck from getting hot from a nice 6k rpm slip. Drive the car home and let it sit over night, now the friction point is much lower, like the stock one was, and the clutch seems to chatter a little more. It doesnt feel like its slipping at all but if you beat on it in the first two or three gears you can smell clutch a little. The new one only has 3k miles on it. It was done by a very reputable shop here on the Island so I know its not installer error. I know its not driver error ether because this is not my first manual car and I have never had clutch issues like this before. Ill be completely honest I drive the car really hard, but nothing that is over the top. What do you guys think I should do? Should I just toss it and find something new or do you think I would have any luck contacting centerforce? Also do you think I am going to get stuck with install fees again or would they cover that if they deamed it defective?

Is it the 11" or the 12". I have seen alot of people have trouble with the 11" ones.

I'm definitely not a clutch expert since my car is an auto but aren't you supposed to be easy on a new clutch?

Yes. All clutches have a break in peiord. If you dont do it correctly, the clutch will fail. If the OP didnt do it then theres the problem.

Try to find out the size. If its the 11" that could be the problem
