I received my "replacement issue" last month....not impresssed at all. If I wanted to read about the other car manufacturers Ii would have purchased magazines that supported them. I too, will not renew. I recently sent in for subscription to Corvette Magazine.

Maybe they think adding articles on the latest Ford Escort is gonna broaden their appeal to a bigger audience....NOT!

I hated when my favorite magazine called RoadBike magazine went from all Metric to all bike brands. There are plenty of magazines that line the shelves that all have the same articles of all the generic stuff.

Really good magazines have indepth and researched articles on specific models and brands, NOT the same ole "How to get the most out of your 4 banger before it squirts it's guts out the huge fart can".

Next issue.... How to clean out all the trash inside your car and turn it into a High Performance upgrade!

How to make your car look custom by adding 3 simple stick on air vents!

I have had a subscription to Vette, Corvette Magazine and Corvette Enthusiast for a few years now. I cancelled Corvette Enthusiast a couple months ago. I wasn't aware they had changed. I guess i cancelled it just in time.

About a year ago I posted something about any Corvette mags. Since then I have subscribed to pretty much all of them just to see which one I liked.

And honestly, they all are just medicore...especially for the price.

Now I am biased as I want a mag with ALOT of tech articles. I grew up reading Hot ROd, Car Craft and Popular Hotrodding and each would always have some bolt-on or swap out tech write up. Most of the Vette mags seem to be missing this.

I like seeing other guys cars and reading the latest about racing and GM production but if you want tech, repair and modification information it seems coming here surpasses any of the magazines.

Just my .02 cents of course and apologies for hi-jacking the thread with my own soap box speech.

When I received the magazine in question I didn't realize that it was replacing my Corvette Enthusiast magazine. I didn't look at it that closely since it had so many other cars in it......I thought it was just a sample of a new concept that AMOS was marketing to its current customers. Corvette Enthusiast use to be one of my favorite vette magazines. This new format stinks......

I had let my Corvette Enthusiast subscription expire. Fortunately my last issue due was the last issue. It's a shame they cancelled all their specialty magazines, not just the Vette mag. I liked the Enthusiast. We are not the only subscribers that got screwed. I'm sure other forums are discussing the same thing, Pontiac, Mustang, Mopar, etc. In the long run they probably really hurt themselves when they lose all these subscriber dollars.

I subscribed to Corvette Enthusiast at Corvettes at Carlisle this August and was waiting for my first issue which I never received but did receive a few weeks ago a new magazine called Auto Enthusiast. I called to find out why and was told they have canceled all publications and only now publish the one magazine with all combined in one. I requested a refund and was told NO. I filed a complaint today with the BBB. What a shame for what was an ok magazine and they dont have loyalty to us car guys.

Auto Enthusiast SUCKS. My Corvette Enthusiast subscription was paid until 11/11. I tried to get a refund...they basically told me to go pound sand. Now I have a worthless subscription for the next year.

It's really screwy, My subscription to 'Corvette Enthusiast' doesn't expire till June 2011, until till then I am going to continue getting "Auto Enthusiast", but on top of that, in today's mail was a renewal for the same "Auto Enthusiast". I have say, I've read the first edition, and, If your restoring a old Pontiac or a Mopar & Mustang, this is the magazine for you. but if your interest was in Corvettes, this just doesn't cut it. And I have to say it's got every vendor under the sun in there, but the stories and articles are so choppy it's difficult to read. So I guess you can imagine where the renewal form went today !

I also received a re-newal notice for AE. I tore it up and tossed it in the trash. The first issue did not impress, I did like the CE mag.
