Not for me either,,,but will add,,as louvers go,,they are the least offensive of the ones I've seen,, almost acceptable!!

Never liked louvers myself. Just too busy looking on such a clean car. But to each their own. Personally, I'd just get some halos and call it a day.

In all honesty, not something I'd spend money on.

I'm in the "don't like" column on this one, but there's nothing wrong with those who do like them. Everyone's taste is different. As has been pointed out, we see far worse on here everyday.

In my opinion, I have not liked these types of bling since I was in High School, in the 80's which is when they came out for C4s (see plastic louvered tail light and rear window covers for C4). Wives rarely get it, hell mine wants me to put a stupid shopping mall custom airbrushed license plate on the front

Ask her if she would like appliances from the 80's in her (i'm guessing) kitchen, sorry if this is too sexist.

If my car had these when I bought it, they would have went on Ebay, or "somehow got damaged" and had to be removed.

El Grande Fromage!
Maybe add a 'wheelskin', and Caliper Covers' to carry the theme.

Gee, that's interesting. I like chrome A LOT and I think black trim, wheels ,etc make a car look dirty - and I hate a DIRTY looking car. But what the hell do I know?

Anyway, I'd really like to know what color fuzzy ball shift **** you
fashion police think would look cool TO YOU and my wife and my pastor -I always prefer to let other people tell me what I should like. I can't begin to tell you how much your opinions matter to me. Thanks for any color suggestions - just stay off Black - I hate dirty-looking *****.

i like the ones that match car color - at least they look like they were made for the car - they dont stand out as bad as the chrome - kinda blend in.

Actually, I agree with you. When I said tail light chrome pieces, I literally meant those plastic look chrome pieces that people stick to their cars, for e.x. the famous 3 piece diamond shaped chrome fake air vents people stick to the side of their fenders. That I do not care for. But in the case of wheels and such, I am a huge fan of chrome; just look at my avatar, I have chrome rims on my black vette! and I love it! Of course it's your car and you are free to do whatever you wish to it that makes you happy, it's just simply when the fake plastic chrome stick ons get out of hand is when I think it looks horrible.... I found an example lol and I guess if you like it then.... well it's your choice but in reality whoever likes this has bad taste

But that is simply what I was implying. Fake chrome like this is cheap looking for "me" in my "opinion". I was just giving my opinion becasue I thought that was the original reason the OP created this thread; to get opinions on it. I in no way meant chrome rims are a no and everything must be blacked out because I myself have chrome rims. I was talking mainly for the stick on chrome pieces in general. But in the end of course like I said whatever makes you happy as it is your car! Happy modding.

And just to add I don't think the taillight pieces his wife picked out are ugly, they are simple and soft on the accent. Not too much or too little and that is fine "imo". Didn't mean to offend you or the OP, just gave my opinion as requested.

I'd tell her that its either remove them, or she move out.

Just being honest.
