Default Cam installed

Just got the car back Friday:

installed

TSP 228R cam
Stage 1 LS6 243 heads
918 springs
TSP push rods
Underdrive pulley
LS6 Intake
LT's w/cats
street tune

Dont have the car fully tuned yet so im going back to the shop this week. Car sounds great and feels nasty out of second a totally different car.

My current vette is a 2000 FRC black on black 40k miles.

Im going to update the profile soon and will have a video once the final tune is done.

Right on! Glad to hear it is running good!

Will be watching for the updated tune and results

Post them as soon as you get them - give yourself a adjutment/breaking in period of learnin the new found power - it happens that others do not have the respect of the new set-up only to crsh the Vette!

So in simple form - Be careful

Thanks,Matt

You are going to enjoy your mods!

They are a lot like mine and its is like a different car(4000-6500rpm)

Just be easy until you get use to the new Zoom-Zoom!

I have the exact same aet up other that my cam is the Texas Speed
Torquer II. 595 lift an 230/232 duration on a 110 LSA.

Torquer II cam
Stage 1 LS6 243 heads
918 springs
TSP push rods
Underdrive pulley
LS6 Intake
LT's w/cats
street tune

Car sounds and runs really good, but I have never had any dyno pulls to see what it actually puts down. Will be really interested in your numbers if you get it dynoed soon!!!

Yes they are I had these on my 98 Camaro SS, just got them back from being checked out and cleaned up.

Cant wait to get some numbers on it. Hopefully I will have around 400 at the wheels, but who knows.

I have the same mods with the exception of the heads. I have my stock 853 and am putting down 405 RWHP 403 RWTQ several dyno's and they are all the same +/- on each pull. I will have a set of fully worked 5.3 to put on shortly. I also have an awesome tuner, a good tune makes all the difference in the world! I will post the #'s as well.

No time slips.... Recently got a good street tune from an experienced tuner with the ls1 format. He is saying with my set up I should be getting 415 to 425 to the rear wheels, and with drag radials, I should get be able to run around an 11.6 to an 11.8 through the quarter??
