Going The Extra Mile
I sent a PM to Dennis Fictner with my VIN # and the information I was requesting. Even though Dennis is probably as busy or busier than almost any Vendor on the Forum, he took time to look up the information I requested and sent me a PM with my answer.
The remarkable thing about this is that the original owner bought neither the car nor the extended warranty from Dennis. Not only that, but due to the distance involved, Dennis will not make anything from warranty repairs since a local dealership will be used.
This speaks volumes about the character of Dennis and the quality person that he is.
Not many people would have responded as he did in this situation.
