Default Can't do a burnout anymore

Tried this morning to power brake and smoke tires a little but to my surprise the wheels didn't move, feels like there is not enough power
no problem with with peeling out and leaving long black marks or braking tires loose from 45mph. 01 A4 z51 vert lightly modded with 338 whp, what is wrong? I used to be able to do it every time, never had any issues with it.
Thanks

With that kind of hp you should be able to roast them at will. sounds like a torque converter or burnt clutches in the trannny.

Hmmm, How can you break the tires loose at 45mph with an A4?
Tell me how it is done.

Simply put your foot on it while going 45 and with TC off and the car start fishtailing. That is how it is done

More practice!!!!! Maybe you've forgotten the method... Just joking but you should have zero problems smoking those tires.

I would of thought you would need a lot more than 338 rwhp to break them loose at 45mph seeing the car will only drop into 2nd gear., I guess it can be done if you have bad tires.
As far as your question, I would say if you have the power to break them babys loose at 45mph and can't do a burn out it has to be driver error. Unless you have tranny issues.

I used to be able to do it with my ws6. I would let off enough to use drive train backlash to get a snap back to the rear. It was kind of a timing thing.

I have yet to see why you would want to smoke the tires and leave long black strips, unless you are are the drag strip. First off it is dangerous on the street and plus tires cost money to simply remove miles of good rubber from them.

I guess I am just getting old.

We are ALL getting older and so are our cars! When I drive my newly cammed car back from the dyno tune in the A.M.,,,,,I am gonna feel a tad younger!

OP,,,mash the gas when your rubber stash needs to be depleted.

Just a shot in the dark, but if your EBCM has gone bad (traction control and abs lights on) it won't let you powerbrake.

I call bs on the burn out @ 45 but CANT at a dead stop...learn how to burn out if that is the case or turn your traction control off.

If you can bust them loose at the top of 1st or bottom of second(which is 45ish in an A4) then you can break them loose from a dig

how about a video of the 45 mph rolling burn out?

its not a rolling burnout but the *** end gets sideways. when i try the burnout i put it to the floor it climbs to just under 1500 than drops to a 1000 and won't do anything!

That is it!!! I have been having abs service light coming on and off for A while I haven't had time to send the unit to Abs fixer yet but have been planning on it.
Anyway I went to a safe place after work today, my TC and ABS was working at that time, I turned TC off and tried to power brake and burnout like I usually do and my tires broke loose at like 1/8 of throttle with ease. I smoked the hell out of them and never was happier to do a burnout. Now at least I know it was not my torque converter or transmission which can be very expensive.

easy to spin them if you like at 45mph. he lives in manitoba and im sure the temps keep road surface cold. add a summer tire you spin fishtail them very easily. at higher air pressure in tire it gets stupid. ive spun my tires near the top of 2nd with a-4 at 75mph and that my friend was not a good feeling. with what ive got going power wise i always have t/c on in cold air temps except when at drag strip. car to strong to be a street warrior
