Great idea. Hey, while we are at it...lets all use the search function. I think everything has been asked at least once before. Works out great, none of us will ever have to post again!!

I'd rather have one honest question(even an "unsearched" one) posted up then seeing the same vendor ad posted in every open forum they can get to. Searches here quite often bring up threads that are very dated. Just because no one has asked for 3 years doesn't mean that someone else has nothing valuable to offer. These "search" purists are kinda like the water cooled guys on a Porsche site. Bitter that their own knowledge base isn't matched (or needed) by every other member out there. Get over yourself!! If you have nothing to add to a members search query, move along. Help if you can, shut up if you really have nothing useful to add.

I currently use a long Hardbar Delrin. I don't mind that it is phallic in nature. In fact, it keeps my wife from wanting to drive the car. Seems she doesn't like handling anything that shape
I have used both C5Z and C6Z in the past. I may get one of the C6Z ***** that has a button grafted onto it after I get electric cutouts. Since the OP asked for a pic, here goes:

These "post pictures" guys are kind of like the current majority of people on welfare in the US---too lazy to do some work, but always expecting everyone else to do work for them, even if the work has already been done before. The search function is there for a reason. It is easy to use, doesn't cost a penny, and in most cases, will give you instant answers. If anyone is concerned that some material is "3 years old", simply post in the 3 year old thread to bump it. People can then add to it and keep all the info in one spot---don't start another new thread on the same topic. That is what makes searching more difficult. Use your head.

Help if you can, shut up if you really have nothing useful to add.

From the forum rules:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/foru...s-or-more.html

Maybe you should have searched for it.

You know, the newer MGW shifter has an interchangable handle. One model is threaded for universal type *****, and the other is made for a C6 ****. I ordered mine that way, but you can just get the handle by itself from MGW, and then get the factory ****, for a perfect fit.

I have a C6Z shifter in my C5Z with a Delrin ****. I installed it backwards since the C6Z shifter has a bend in it. I felt the position in 2nd, 4th, and 6th was too far back when installed "frontwards"
