Default Shift *****?

what do you guys have and can you post a pic? I dont really like the stock **** and looking for something different... im looking for something more round that fits my hand a little better (small hands) possibly leather wrapped... Previously had a WRX STI and liked it (size and feel)

found this billet annodized black one on ebay and think it looks decent, anyone try it?

Use the SEARCH in the "C5 General" section. There is a recent thread about shift *****. Come to think of it, use the SEARCH often. If you have a question about vettes, it has definitely been asked before around here...

07 C6Z shifter/**** in my C5. This shoulda been the way they did the shifter in the C5's. C6Z shifter is shorter, and the **** fits nicely in my hand. More modern looking too. Just my .02 cents.

I agree completely that the stock is the best ****. I have two C5s and have the stock ***** and find that they fit my smaller hand nicely. Really disliked the Hurst **** that came with the Z06, as it looked out of place; it was the first item I got rid of, followed by the short throw shifter.

...for you. This is an absolutely 100% personal opinion type of modification. Everyone has different sized hands, everyone grasps the shift **** differently, and not everyone likes the OEM shift **** look or feel. There are many quality aftermarket ***** that are as nice or nicer than the OEM one. Pretty vague just making a blanket statement that any aftermarket **** is "crap".

Hurst ball comes in black or white, with the 6 speed pattern on the top.
I like mine a lot.

I've had 5 different *****, and my fave is the C6Z ****. The **** that best describes your preferences would be thte MGW
"Gripper". It was a little too small for me, but it's great.

And to all those members that yammer about using the search function......isn't the point of theses forums to exchange ideas and thoughts on a more direct basis? I understand the annoyance factor, but that's kinda what we're here for, IMO.

I'm with you, I'm so tired of members complaining, like there is something better to do on the forum. If you take the time to make a post, make it constructive.

...and that is kinda what the search function is for. People take the time to type out replies and post photos. They already did some work. Now, the guy looking for info can do some work. The least someone else can do is to search for the info first, instead of requesting those same people to post all the info again. It's the polite thing to do.

Best rule of thumb for automotive web forums: "If you have a question, it has already be answered."
