Default Big Brake Kits

If you had to choose between Brembo 6 Pistons front and 4 Pistons rear or C6 Z06 front and rear, which one would you take and why? And what's the deference?

You can find a ton of info in the autocross/roadracing section. There are a lot of other options as well.

I have Stoptech St60 front and St40 rear.
Four piston fronts will stop you just as quickly with the right pad material, and the pads are cheaper than the 6 piston caliper pads. What is your usage. If you are planning a RACE car, with wheel to wheel.....particularly enduro racing, then I would recommend the 6 piston. However, for street, HPDE, or even club racing, the four piston monoblock calipers with the appropriate RACE pads (PFC-01, DC70, etc) will be all the brakes you'll ever need (WITH cooling, of course).

I'd like to know about this too. too bad I don't have the money to spend that for that kind of stuff lol

C6 Z06 got better brakes, why couldn't GM give us better brakes too!?

Neither.

StopTech ST60 / ST40 or APRacing set ups from DRM or HardBar

Remember one has to buy wheels to fit OVER the BBK to. so you just about double the cost

My use will be street, but also want the look of the 6 Pistons upfront and 4 rear.

Then it also comes down to Budget?

What is your budget for the a BBK set up, PLUS new wheels go over the BBK and new tires.

if your budget is unlimited, great go for it.

you could be looking at $7-8000 for a BBK set up just for the brakes, rotors and parts. There are vendors on CF that will fit you right up.

$3-5,000 for wheels to fit OVER the BBKs
and
$2,000 for new tires to fit on the new wheels

or Wilwood has a 6 pot /4 pot combo that will fit under stock rims with a small spacer

I just received authorization to sell about 9 sets of C5/ C6 Red Stoptech 6-Piston front brakes for a smoking price... so if any one would like a set please let me know.. once they are gone they are gone. You will save about $500 from the normal price
