Adding the ACA HID's to my car was IMHO the best safety feature I could have done. I am sooo much more comfortable driving at night. It felt like turning on the Sun.
As I read in a previous post re: HID's .... Stock headlights are like shining a flashlight through a Ball jar filled with ****.
These were given to me so I don't know the brand. There's no name on them, well, tbh I didn't look. They look like just like the ones MSG C5 has & the ones JW sells, but I.m not sure.
Gee Mr. Bill....as close as you are to hell, didn't think you would get snow there, LOL

A lot of people are surprized when I tell them we do get snow here.
I guess the HID fogs are more then just a bulb replacement. What is involved in their installation? Is it a full day deal or pretty simple deal?
Yes, both the ACA Headlights and my HID fogs required installing ballasts. I perhaps went a little overboard in securing them with screws in addition to double-sided 3M tape, however I wanted to make sure these babies stayed where I installed them. (Thoughts of taking a corner and hearing a big "thud" as the ballast slides around the lighting well scared me.)
Below are pics of the install. Give yourself a weekend afternoon and a few cold ones...

Good luck. I suggest if you do this mod to go ahead and add LED corners, fogs, etc. Once you have the headlight assemblies out, you have a lot of room to work other mods. I know this because I installed my new corner housings and LED lights before I installed my headlights and I had to lift and get under the car to complete the mods. In hindsight, it would have been a lot easier to do it all at once. Just make sure you test each light one at a time during the install process. You don't want to have to reverse engineer any wiring once everything is closed back up.

Thanks but I think I am only going to do the fog lights for now.
