I needed to mount some switches for the nitrous system I just installed but didn't want to look at them all the time. They make nifty switch plates that go in the ashtray but that's where I keep my Ipod. They make switch plates for the cup holder in the C6 but nothing for the cup holder on the C5 so I made my own. I had some Lexan lying around and voila.

In case you're wondering, the top switch is to arm the system and has a nifty blue led in it when on and the second switch is a momentary switch for the purge.

Very cool! Way to be original. I have no use for my existing cup holder and it's great to see you made such excellent use of yours. Nice job in getting the texture to match up as well! Very clean!
I still want to know in what universe is that a cup holder? It's still better than a '92 BMW 325i cup holder, but thats only because that car doesn't have one.
