Does Eneos oil really make HP?
You say it wouldn't matter? Maybe not, but it was easy to test the exact same viscosities against each other and remove all doubt.... but they chose not to.

Guy sounds like the type that sells Shamwow products.

And it's magnified beyond real-life useage on inertia dynos. On load bearing dynos... the increase is below the instruments repeatability margin.
Imagine this business meeting:
Engineer: "We've mixed a new oil gobulation that shows HP/TQ increases on an inertia dyno"
company owner: "so what? Every one knows that false increases in dyno numbers can be had by going to a lower viscosity oil. It will make no improvement out on the street."
marketing guy: "but that's fine; ricers will be the primary customers... and they can't drive worth a sheet anyways. Dyno's rule their world"
sales manager: "and we'll require our dealers to place this product on the shelf - inbetween the electric leaf blower turbo kits... and the Performance Hood Seals.
Company Owner: "Brilliant; start production immediately!!!

just wait, ricers will include the oil in their "list of mods"

I believe they include a free PENEOS enlarger with each oil change.
