It seems the older I get the less patience I have. I know the parts are coming, but now I think of things like am I gonna be alive when they get here? After surviving a couple of heart attacks that morbid thought creeps in when I'm excited about getting something cool for my car. It's silly of course but it's either that PTSD thing or I'm really only 10 years old and going through a second childhood.
Can't wait to get my new widebody rear fenders and stuff. Ordered everything and just waiting for it all to get here! Maybe it'll all be finished by the end of January.

Know what ya mean. Gave every Fed Ex truck the stink eye in the neighborhood waiting on my new tires and wheels. Hang in there....your gonna have to wait for the flares to be worked and painted too!!
I know what you mean, installed supercharger 3 weeks ago. Then had to wait on a new tranny for 2 weeks, just got it back today. But, they didn't have time to tune or dyno, so I have to take it back after the new year. Hang in there, I know it's frustrating. I think that's the king baby in all of this, I want it, and I want it NOW!!
Patience is a virtue! I have been waiting NINE MONTHS for my rotating Assembly from Callies! It just came in this week! Granted, I am still running my stock motor, but I am now building a 454 LSX!
Also, I broke a rim in early September. Mine are made by Vossen Forged. They agreed to replace all 4 since this was the second time one broke. Anyway, That was early September, and I still do not have the replacements. My car has been on jack stands for three months!

MAN, That's an incredible survival story!!!!! Discovery Channel should make a series of episodes on that. 9 months of patience used up and then another tragic waiting episode of car without wheels?
Discovery Channel could have the series open up with a guy standing by his Vette in the driveway much like a scene of a Captain standing on the bridge of his ship looking across the Ocean. The Vette owner surveys his car with a look of concern and consternation as his gaze pierces through the morning haze. Coffe cup held up as if he's about to take another sip when the thought flashes in his mind, will that damn UPS truck show up on time today?
As far as the wheels go I'd be looking for a better brand than one with quality issues and repeat failures. Just my opinion. Its either bad manufacturing or you keep hitting the same pothole, just saying. BUT the car wouldn't be on blocks waiting.....
The Vette owner lowers his cup after realizing he burnt his lips with too big a gulp of coffee. He sees his neighbor across the street sprint out the front door waving to him as he dashes for his KIA supersport. He thinks to himself, If only UPS would get here, I'd show that fruitcake across the street what having a Vette really means!
