I received a set of drilled and slotted rotors for Christmas and I will be putting new pads on at the same time. My question is what pads should I get? The car is not a daily driver ('01 with 35,000 miles) so I don't see the need for top of the line racing pads, but I don't want a set of cheap pads either. The rotors are GM with the center hub powder coated.
I also will be changing out the sway bars for the Z06 Z51 as well as the metal end links.

Reason: added price
Another vote for Hawk HPS. Gene has great prices on these. What ever you do, do not put ceramic pads on. I had the ceramics before the HPS. You would not believe the difference in stopping power.
one more vote for Hawk HPS .. I've got them with stock rotors and like them very much - zero squeal, Very low dust and way better performance when pushed hard.
