Default need help installing PCV valve

Ok, I just got a new PCV valve since I threw mine out by mistake while installing my oil catch can...

I got the part (CV948C) but here is the problem. one end is 3/8 which is what I need, but the other end is HUGE.

how the heck am I supposed to put that thing between a 3/8 hose?

I remember there was a piece that the z06 came with that was kind of like an adapter I guess, but I threw it out, so now I can't figure out how to put the damn thing in.

I pretty much got a huge 3/4 heater hose and it fit the end of it. then I got a adapter that is like 3/4 to a 5/8 or something that barely fit the 3/8 hose. the thing looks funky, and I think there might be an easier way... any help?

There is a rubber connector that fits over the large part of the PCV. It is a rubber adaptor. Hope you don't ask me for a part number.

Keep in mind that the adapter is designed to fit over the 3/8" hard plastic line. (don't know if you threw that out too)

I threw all the stuf out. I made my own adapter. Guess I'll just use that. kinda clunky, but oh well
