"Show and Go" Installation Advice Needed

"Show and Go" Installation Advice Needed
Please let me know of any tips you "Show and Go"ers might have for installing on your C5. I'd really rather not drill into the fascia as the manufacturer (ALTEC) suggests. Anyone invented some kind of bracket for the bracket???

(btw..."Show and Go" is the name of a front license plate bracket which folds out-of-sight" under the nose for "Show" purposes. Front plates are required here in Texas and having your front plate visible is a big deal with the DPS)

I have never put my plate on the front. I'm in Texas. I have been given a warning once though. He told me I'm in the system, and next time its a ticket...
