Hi all, got rid of a garaged 2000 Camaro SS that I ordered from SLP new. Am now a new owner of a '98 C5. I had always been a Camaro guy, but there's no turning back now.
My C5 has had about $40 k in mods and I love it. From the body work to engine mods, close to 600 hp, there is no way to drive any other make of car.
Looking forward to this forum, and a couple of clubs I'm joining in the central Florida area!
Am quickly finding out that all work done is very expensive. There is Chevy,,,, then there's the real car,, the Corvette!!
This forum can help you avoid alot of the corvette tax. From parts, to DIY repairs. All your questions can be answered on this forum. Post pics of the new ride.
Welcome to the forum. Post up some pictures of the new ride. By the way, there is nothing wrong with Camaro's. I actually trade my C4 ('85) for a new '93 Z28. The first year of that body style. I still think they look good and better than these new retro Camaro's.
I own a 2003 Corvette 50th Anniversary edition coupe and i love it. I never had a Camaro, and when GM brought out the current model I wasn't too crazy about the looks, But I recently got to sit in one at the dealership who does the oil change and state inspection om my Corvette. And I gotta tell you this is one nice coupes I've been in. It was a 2010 or 2011, I think. It was a black Camaro SS V8 and a 6 speed with two slightly gray stripes running down the center of the car, sharp, really sharp. I think I could get to like one of these beauties !
