No, it seems to me that if you have the correct VIn, they should be able to supply the both Build Sheet and Window Sticker. Maybe shw or someone at the NCM transposed a number.

If you try again and they still cannot find the info, I would start doing sone histry search on the car. I hate to say this, but the vin you have may be a bogus number.

Does your VIN look something like this 1G1YY32G615115877? If you want more info check this site http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/...01/2001id.html

I don't like the condition that you must buy both the window sticker and build sheet, I just want to buy the window sticker.

The original owner of my car laminated the window sticker and passed it on to me. It's a neat touch.

I guess it would be nice if they gave you the option, but I did not mind as I wanted both anyway. Also that money goes to help keep the NCM going.

Check out post #23 here:

The Build Sheet is located inside the front "bumper" under the bumper cover.

When I was at the NCM in September, I was able to purchase just the build sheet.

ok, so perhaps I did not make Myself clear enough...in this day and age...why would the
NCM have everything computerized....so I guess I can't buy a build sheet or window sticker
Hence My reason for this thread to see if anyone else had run into the same problem as Me and if so what path did they take

I think the answer is: nobody has run into this problem. I can't see any reason the NCM doesn't have your vette's info "if" you have a correct VIN. With a proper VIN, they have all the corvette data for everthing built in Bowling Green and can find it in a heart beat. What is your VIN number? Maybe we can track it down if you give it.

Just trying to help... I am a NCM member also.

I had no prob a few months ago.
Did they tell you specifically that the prob is with your VIN?
I can only imagine the ways an order can get screwed up!

Good Luck.

fwell good news..if at first you don't succeed try try again...I called the museum today and
spoke to a wonderful woman....Betty....she took My number and called back a bit later....
the missing buildsheet has been found...I was misfiled. The bad news...if lost it would stay
lost...they only have one piece of paper...(build sheet) per car....paper filing...nothing is
computerized or on micofiche...ORDERED..!!!!
