Which Avic unit is pictured above? I assume it's the X930BT,yes 930 since it appears to have a micro-SD slot and not the full size SD slot. If that is the case, will the Z130BT also have a "dial" for the volume, like the photo above or does the larger screen size remove the dial? I perfer the dial, over the +/- buttons for volume.
Z130 will have the larger screen and look just like the Z120

Can you confirm how many contacts can be stored in each of these units? My preseny Avic unit only holds 400 contacts in it's memory and I have nearly 600 on the phone. So my Avic contacts stop at the letter "S". come on who you kidding you have that many friends
I am not sure this is one I will have to try and find out. I dont even have a clue what the 920 holds ----ANYONE?

Have the aftermarket units caught up to select OEM and windshield GPS, in that you can enter destinations and POI while moving? You can do this by performing the bypass on them. I am sure the 930 can be bypassed just like the 920 can. I would never do this personally, but my passenger would.
see link to bypass which would allow for entering nav and watchign dvd while driving

I know there are ways to defeat this safety measure, but I would rather it come that way.

Both X930 and Z130 come with Navigation for the prices you mentioned? I heard rumblings that Navaigation might not be included to get a lower starting price and you could add nav, if you wanted it.
Both 930 and 130 have built in NAV
its the 3300bt, 4300bt and i guess there is a new 6300bt that the nav can be added. The u220 nav add on is what it takes. If anyone is considering NAV spend it when buying the unit. It will cost you more in the end to get it added on and the features are better with it built in.

as far as prices go. these are all suggested pioneer pricing
the 930 is suggested at 800.00 and the z130 is suggested at 1200.00
for what its worth the 920 was suggested at 1000.00 and the z120 was 1400.00
so this means pricing is coming down for 2011

I am still waiting to get the pricing for my cost on these so I can get everyone the Double D suggested price
Thanks.

Let me know anymore questions JEff

I have a Garmin for the very few times that I actually need it. Oh well.

look towards to 4300dbv or whatever this 6300 unit is going to be.

Thanks Dennis. Let me know if you find out on the contact number fro the units. I believe the newer Avics have more space for contacts. Too many french fry and chicken customers in my phone.
