You need to post more info Karey.

Is the oil pressure showing low or high?

Do you know how to check the codes? If so post them up and we can help troubleshoot. If not let us know and we can tell you how

Same thing happened to me. But the check engine light may not part of the OPS problem. So you need to check codes from the DIC, and find out what's going on.

P0300 Engine Misfire Detected

U1096 Loss of Communications with IPC but I did not see this under TCS in my codes list. There is a U1016 under my list but it's still a loss of communications with PCM.

Not sure that last code is valid. Check again.

The P0300 is a history code and is emissions related.

Your oil pressure sensor has died. Its a common problem but not easy to fix unless you're handy with a wrench.

Te best plan is to relocate the sensor although you can just replace it. Post up if you want links on how to do the fix.

Theres a video on you tube listed under C5 Oil sender, shows fixing by going behind manifold with an extension and socket.I haven't looked on my car yet but if that video is right and accurate it don't look real hard to replace.Any input on this would be great. Thanks to everyone for all the help, this forum is so cool and very informative also,Thanks again,Karey
