Something missing on my door...

I am test driving a 2000 Vette for the next couple days that i may purchase. I just noticed 3 holes in the door panel behind the door handle....I am talking about the fixed handle and not the one you open the door with.

Both the driver and passenger doors have the holes. Looks like something mounted there...can anyone tell me what?...thanks..

Its just a door plug that covers access to the screws

They fall out quite often. Cost a few bucks each to get a new one

If it fell off, it's probably broken. They cost like five bucks. Buy a new one and move on.

I was about to ask where to get these. Bought my first vette 2 weeks ago and noticed the plate on the passenger side was missing.

I bought two black ones at the local Chevy dealer. In stock, and two for $5. Oak or shale might be a little more difficult, don't know.

Put a small dab of silicone on the back when you install it and it won't fall out again. But you can still pull it off if you need to access the door panel screws.
