I am checking on finding someone to rebuild the 97-2000 units and need the part number and is it a Bosche unit or not as well as a picture of it if anyone has one Thanks in advance
hmm no one knows if Bosch makes it or has a pic of this from a 97-00. Trying to line up a $150 repair source for these and he needs those two things to tell me if he can do them. It is listed as a Delco part but that doesn't mean anything many GM cars have Bosch 5.X units in them.
I might have to look into this one as well!! I E-mailed ABS fixer about my 2000,,and they didn't even answer!! Everything I have read said 97-2000 couldn't be rebuilt !! This is the first outfit that says 97-04 I have ever heard of. Just a bit skeptical!!
"Your module must match the posted image to qualify for this offer. If it does not match, please contact us. We may still be able to rebuild your module."
The pictured module is definately not the same as my 2000 module.......
No that won't work it is for 01-04 cars. That is a Bosch 5.3 unit. It is hard to find anyone to fix the early year cars. Corvette salvage wants $795 to do it but they may just be swaping parts. I am trying to find someone who actually reapirs the units. The big differnce is the early year EBCMs are "potted" or filled with a sealer that covers the board that would have to be removed to repair it. My source actually charges $150 but wants a pic to verify it. The later years are easy to fix. As I have said mine is fine for now just planning ahead.......

yea, I'm good now too. I got rid of all my TC/AH intermitent codes by cutting all the GM ground plugs out and using real ground lugs like they do on the C6. Been clean for several months now. Would like to have a back up for the EBTCM if it ever does go out.....
