Default Seat Hoops

Hi I was thinking about putting a set of Seat hoops on my 2000 Convertible, but I wanted to know how high they are, can anyone tell me the height and width of the Corvette Seat Hoops?
thanks

Don't know exact measurements but here's a photo to show how it fits in a 2004 vert.

Mine's tucked away for the winter so I can't measure them for you, height-wise. The diameter is 1.75", but I also had them upholstered to an overall diameter of about 2.25". These may give you a relative idea as to how they fit with the seats.

I bought mine from West Coast Corvettes (WCC). They measure approximately 14" in width at the bottom where they connect and are approximately 13" in height.

One thing to note is that different manufacturers offer different width in hoops. I chose the chrome hoops from WCC because I liked the look of the larger diameter hoops. If you choose to cover your hoops with leather or some other covering, you may want to choose a smaller diameter hoop from another vendor that will allow you to wrap them and still allow clearance for the convertible deck lid to close.

Good luck!

Not sure if I'm the same guy, however I'm the guy who jacked up my carpet trying to cut it around the seat hoops. I eventually fixed it and then installed some custom rubber rings around the hoops to help form a better/flush fit.

I advise anyone who is considering this mod to have a pro auto upholsterer finish the carpet cut after you install the hoops. It should not cost more than $50 - $75 because it only takes a pro about 30 minutes to do the work.
