I have one. No need to remove with top up or down.. put it in and leave it all summer. I would fairly say it cuts air by 50 percent. You can talk to passenger easily and don't have to worry that your hat will blow off. All in all worth the money to me. I would for sure want it if going on a long trip and intend to have the top down as I don't like getting beat by the wind for hours.
