I'd put a battery charger on it and build it up and try and start it.

There's no reason you can't jump it. However if you have the time a charger works too.

You might be able to save the battery, I would get a Slow charger and let it go over night, It might just bring it back to life, If not new battery time and you should have a tender anyway seeing your car sits, I like the CTEK US3300.

Remove the battery and put it on a slow charger. Don't put it back in until spring when you get the car out. You are doing more harm than good just starting it every few weeks. Don't start it unless you plan on driving it. My vette sits in the garage all winter and I remove the battery and store it in the basement.

Yes, I would get it recharged somehow. Don't store a dead battery.

Pick up a low amp charger and restore the battery to a full charge. Also DO NOT store the battery on concrete put on a block of wood or anything to keep it off concrete.Autozone will charge the battery for free, but will not replace it because at is discharged.Only if it will not hold a charge.
Good Luck,
Ed

yea after amount of years they wont replace , but they will lower the price for a newer one, so i will take it to Autozone have them charge it then store it on a wooden floor or area and then put it back in , in the spring time, i guess i will need to know how to reprogram the FOB

Turn on ignition, but don't start engine. Press options button repeatedly until you come to a blank screen, then press and hold 'Reset' until you see 'FOB TRAINING' press 'Reset' again and it will ask you to hold lock and unlock at the same time and it will beep when complete. Then on to second fob.
