Go with the 3.42s, The 4.10s are to low for a stock or lightly modded "auto" Vette.

I bought the ring and pinion off the forum about a month ago, A friend of mine bought just bought a DTE 3.73 and gave me a great price on his old diff, I could not pass it up. The ring and pinion is in very good condition. I am offering you a great deal because my friend offered me a great deal
