I cannot believe that you guys carry jumper cables. Would you actually use them on your vette??? What a risk of blowing out your computers and electronics. Jumper cables are from the old days when it was ok to jump start cars but not for todays cars. I threw any that I had away a long time ago. I would'nt even use them on my wifes toyo highlander. I am pretty sure that this is not a good thing to do with modern cars especially a corvette that has so many sensitive electrical issues anyway. Peace, Bill
Yes, I carry a small tool box in my Vette. I have a selection of wrenches, screwdrivers, sockets, pliers, etc. I tried to get the most common sizes of everything just in case I need them.
basics, but just enough to try to cope with pretty much any simple problem. add fuses, wire ties, work gloves and a shop rag to the above in my case.
The vette has s small air compressor which i have used for miscleaneous airing of tires, not just on the vette but comes in handy.
screwd rivers with multiple bits, including torex, wire ties, wrenches, head badn with flash light, tire tool, I run run flats but being able to add air is helpful if you have read some of the posts of people who run and them and those who do not. Either waay a tire patch kit, is awesome, used one during ahunting trip and that sold me along with the air compressor the person had.
3/8 and 1/3 deep well sockets all small versions. Might want to consider whatever size socket you need for the tension pully as if it comes loose,, and you can tighten the bold, and then put the belt back on that can get you down the road till you can get it serviced properly. Fues are a definent requirement. Headlight bulbs I just put the stock ones in the back after changing them out for some ultra bright stars.
a road side triangle kit would be good to have too.

Just curious what do you do if your battery dies when you are off somewhere? I know I have jumped my 02, my dads 97 and almost had to jump his 00. I just had to jump my sisters Neon last night along with plenty of other vehicles. I dont think you should have a problem jumping a car if you do it correctly, heck Ive even jump started my dads jag which was produced under ford but it still has some very sensitive electrical systems like the CATS suspension.
I'm thinking a folding beach chair and cell phone. I would add an ice chest with adult beverages but a buddy of mine got nailed for DUI when he was drinking a beer while changing a flat tire on the side of the road. Well several beers plus the cop thought perhaps he was drinking when he drove in the ditch which caused his flat tire. By the way he was driving a truck not a Corvette.

The first day I had the tool box in the trunk I passed a pretty young lady who’s Honda hood had flown off and was hanging by one hinge. While she was crying on her cell phone I pulled over removed the nut, slid the hood in her hatch and she was able to drive away (thank you, thank you) safely.
While at a Vette together picnic a fellow owner couldn’t start his engine and asked if anyone had jumper cables. I was the only one with a pair, he found a jump volunteer and was on his way in minutes.
Not such a big inconvenience to have some tools back there...
