I owned a set in 19/20 and had them for almost a year and they were TOP NOTCH in my honest opinion. They were different than most anyones wheels on the forum or in public for that matter. The chrome was absolutely perfect, as well as the craftsmanship. Best of all, they are made for the Corvette with correct fitment 100%. They do NOT however, have many styles to choose from. I think the other version look like CCW and everyone has those!
They are manufactured by TRW, a well known custom wheel manufacturer. They are also fairly lightweight compared to the new ones (RUFF) I have now.
I'm pretty sure they are made in China. I have a set of Chrome Scorpions. I like them a lot. Since they are made for Corvettes, Tire Pressure Monitors work in them. See picture below:
Cray are great wheels. You will have no worries with them. I have sent out dozens of sets of Cray wheels to alot of happy customers. Like noted they are made by TSW as well and made for the Corvette with correct offsets for perfect fitment.
I have been running the Cray Scorpions for several years and am very happy with them. The clean up fairly easy, and I can get my hand in to clean the inner wheel. No idea where they are made.
i had 18/19 scorpions.. very good quality wheel. But they weigh ALOT. I noticed a difference when driving.
the rears w/ 285 tires weighed 64lbs.. that's 12 lbs over the stock weight.. unsprung, it makes a difference.
If you don't care about the weight.. there aren't many negatives to them. I think they look great too.
Great looking wheels, and you don't ever hear of anyone having any problems with them...I'd buy a set if I could find 'em used, missed a set just a few weeks ago - went within about an hour or so - seem reasonably priced new too though...

Have always heard good things about them except the weight.
Good to hear from someone with first hand experience.
