Hard Top Convertible?
Did the corvette ever have an automatic hard top that folded into the back of the car? The reason why I am asking is this guy stopped me coming out of a Wing Stop and asked if my cars was that kind. I of course gave him a quizzical look at him since I was sitting in my car with the soft top up.

There were a few bespoke conversions but never anything from GM. The ones that were done used most of the trunk for the "hardware"

If I recall correctly,,,a couple of years back I think they had one that got auctioned on Barret Jackson. As I recall it was sold without a title from the GM collection,,and was an experimental styling exercise. A one of a kind.

My dad has an XLR, I can put the roof down faster on my 01 than the motors can on his car! He was commenting the other day on how he loves the retractable hardtop, but hates how little trunk space there is when it's down, at least compared to the ragtop vette.
