It's just a woman thing. Mine doesn't even like my car kind of actually hates it ( took her spot in the garage ).But I figure if she doesn't like it she wont drive it.

I'm starting to think she doesn't like the Vette because she has to scale down her wardrobe when we go away
Well, the wife and i were leaving the base and as I was going out and a Red C6 was driving in. I saw my comrade in arms driving by and gave him a steering wheel salute. My wife asked me, if i knew the guy, I said no, but since he is a vette owner, he can't be all that bad Well, none the less, she got all weird on me telling me that it is stupid to salute another vette owner...can I divorce her over that statement
My girlfriend makes fun of me every time I do that
We salute commissioned officers and MOH winners, we don't salute vettes, we wave at them, unless of course the driver is a commissioned officer, then we both salute and wave.

My wife feels the same way even though I didn't take her spot, I just park my work car outside.

My wife used to think it was a silly thing to do,,,the wave,,,,now she sees them before I do half the time! I wish SWR would ride with me more often. Cruisin in my Dream Car with my Dream Girl,,,,
My wife actually found our first one(my 69),,,and after a hot summer trip to Bowling Green in it(a BB with no A/C) encouraged me to get a newer one WITH A/C,,,hence the 00 FRC!! She understands the wave,,and helps out when we go to things like Fun Fest,,and waves to the ones we pass!!
My wife is used to waving at others when we are on my motorcycle, so she gets the whole "brotherhood" thing. Since it was a long time between vettes for me, I wasn't sure if the vette "brotherhood" and waving were still happening when I got mine last month. But, so far, 3 other vettes I passsed or pulled up to all waved. Good to see some things never die.
Really? Seems like it's pretty dead out in California...at least in my area, anyway. The day I bought it, I thought a fellow black 'vert owner was going to get in a wreck just so I'd see him wave. Since then, however, it seems like most of the 'Vette owners I've come across don't even look twice. Oh well.
