State Farm for about 20 years. Just got an Allstate quote in January at renewal and they were more.

Important note...I got hit hard in 1998 with 3 moving violations in 6months. I was certain my rate would skyrocket. It never changed. A few years later I asked my agent why. She said since I had never had a claim, they stopped checking my driver's record at DMV. That's one reason I'm still with them even though I have had some cheaper quotes.

AARP ?????

Ya got to be kidding me.... they are much more expensive for not only auto insurance but also for Medigap and Medicare part D policies Dollar for dollar the coverage is not even in the ballpark...

American Collectors for my Corvettes...21st Century (which did changed their name a few years ago (was AIG) for my regular cars...

After driving for over 38 years, I am now believing that all the companys play the same game.

They get you by under-cutting the premium of the company you are currently with but then slowly raise it back up.

I went with Geico from All State when I got my AE back in 2003. I had also purchased a used Volvo and Geico insured them both for LESS than All State wanted for the Vette.

No-Brainer for me back then......now I just don't know.

I have State Farm for both cars and my home. For the Vette I pay about 1050.00 per year, that rate is with the multi vehicle and home discount and another discount because the car is driven under 9K per year. That rate is with 1K deductable and full glass. I've tried to get a better rate but State Farm has the best coverage with the best rate for me, however you may find a better deal depending on your location and other factors.

Thats what I was thinking.I pay $432.00 a year[216 each 6 months]for full coverage on my vette with multi car discount and no homeowners discount and $1000 deductible. My 4 runner is $422.00 each year.I also get a small discount for a defensive driving course. This is with Geico.

Adam at NCM took good care of me.

I've had Collector Car Insurance for close to a year.

The agreed value gives me peace of mind when I do drive them.

No one in my opinion will get the same rate as someone else gets with someone. I have had most of the companies listed in this post in my 40 plus years of car ownership and presently the best price for my vette, not a DD, was with Grundy. I have never had any luck staying with one company for a long period of time. Seemed when a premium went up I would check with others and get a cheaper rate.

Funny, I dropped Geico for my homeowners (actually through Travelers) and went with Hartford throuhg AARP in order to save $. It was a few months ago so I don't remember the amount. What i found out in the proces is that when you get your renewal notice you shoud first call and ask if you are being given the best rate. You probably are not and they can adjust it to do better.
