what kind of paint did you use? i am wanting to do this as well..looks great btw
Would love to know more as well.
I'm considering powder coating mine and would like to know how difficult it is to remove/reinstall. Thinking about powder coating the intake, alternator and alternator bracket and would like to to it all at once.
thanks guys i just posted some pics of the polishing i did
as for painting the intake
razor blade
scotch brite
and a whole lot of time took me almost 4 days to sand it (not smooth) just to get imperfections out (couple hours a day) its alot of work getting into all the small spots on the intake (prep work is 90% of the work to get a good looking piece)
then after all the prep sprayed it adheision promoter (helps when painting plastic),let tack up.then i sprayed it with grey green primer, let it sit for about 20min,then i sprayed it wth the color (dbg) i used shop line paint and hardner and clear it is a third of the price of ppg and it matches and sprays nice 4hours total to paint
thanks for looking

A few questions....
Are you putting on new coil packs?
Did you install bigger injectors and fuel pump?
Is that a pressure gauge on the end of the fuel rail?
What fuel rails are those?
Thanks....
