Default Help with info

I bought my 01 z a little over two years ago (Oct '08) in Portland OR, and due to my excitement of owning my first Vette, I lappsed in trying to get all the build info on the car from the owner via the dealer. (Gran Prix Imports) The car was in on consignment when I got it. 17xxx miles and a Shirl Dickey 418 LS2. I am trying to track down any info on this motor as far as components and specs. If this was a "cookie cutter" build or one-off custom. I don't know what shop did the work either. The car has 5 pt roll bar, upgraded clutch, stereo, exhaust, and other minor mods... If anyone one has an idea in the area of the previous owner or Shirl Dickey, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Are you sure it's not " Scoggin Dickey", and not Shirl? They're well known Corvette parts, etc. AKA, SDPC.

I'm pretty sure I remember Shirl Dickey. I only found a thread on LS1tech from '06 about another one and a 454. I'm hoping someone from the portland area will recogize the car and know the previous owner as the dealer wouldn't give me any info(obviously not expecting anything)... or the whereabouts of Shirl Dickey...

Thats the one I found too. I found other various mention of it but no contact info. MrEracer is Shirl Dickey's screen name on here and LS1tech. He hasn't been on here in years and not on LS1tech in months. I'll just try sending him a msg on the other forum and see what happens. Thanks for the help though.

Default Found build list...

I found my breakdown of motor finaly burried in a box, but my cam is in question. What cam... Wtih the cs=ustom length pushrods would this lead to be a custom grind? I am not very cam savy. My cam was just pulled and has damge on all lobes and my mechanic said there was only a number on it. he called comp and is awaiting the maker of the cam. I am trying to do research on my end to speed this up. any help appreciated.
