After reading some of your comments on rotors, I ordered slotted ones. They have not arrived yet, but the hawk hps pads did.
How do you guys like these pads?

burn them in from several speeds to 0 mph, 30 60 etc. I didn't get a chance to do all that as I had to drive home 40 miles with an untuned newly cammed car. after the tune I did do some braking stuff,,,,I like 'em just fine!

1.After installing new brake pads, make 6 to 10 stops from approximately 30-35 mph applying moderate pressure.
2.Make an additional 2 to 3 hard stops from approximately 40 to 45 mph.
3.DO NOT DRAG BRAKES!
4.Allow 15 minutes for brake system to cool down.
5.After step 4 your new pads are ready for use.
I've had the Hawk HP's for 3 years now along w/ Brembo drilled and slotted rotors and would use them again. Quiet, good braking performance but as far as the dust I clean them a lot - they do appear to have a fair amount of dust.
Dito, changed the fronts to HPS's and the backs were still original and now there is more brake dust on the back wheels then fronts after a week or so of daily driving
Seems to stop a little better also
