I'm official!
I finally got my smog done and got my Kelifornia registration completed today. Now I have real license plates and everything - woohoo!
With the air pump code "fixed" the car flew through smog. Don't have to smog it again for 2 more years and the registration next year won't be nearly as bad as it was this time.

Yep, it's really stupid. NO safety inspections at all, but if your car smokes or has a check engine light LOOK OUT! They even have billboards here asking people to report smoking vehicles. Take a look at this: http://www.arb.ca.gov/enf/complaints/smoke.htm

Trust me guys, I'm driving it every chance I get. I drove it back from MO ( about 2000 miles), and I've put another 3000 on it on top of that since the 1st of the year.
