Default C5 defroster vent grill

Has anybody replaced one? I'm curious if it's DIY and how hard it would be.
Thanks,
Mike

Dont see much around it, never did one though. If its the grille (part numbers from the manual 10400366 or 67) it looks like it just lifts out.
Id give it a careful shot.
Good luck

Thanks for the input guys-mine disintegrated when I had it detailed and I don't know if the guy even realized because the the pieces I pulled out were as brittle as could be.
So yes, Rick, I definitly want to replace it. How much do you need for it and is it dried out or fragile at all?

I have the same problem. 3 slats were missing a few weeks ago. Today, I think 8 are gone...

I need one too! I bought my car in Virginia where they have to have a sticker in the front windshield, and while removing it, I barely touched the defrost vent and it shattered! It is the shale/neutral interior but I have been looking and can not find one in that color so I guess a black will work! It is a 2004 model

Same here... Shale. There is a vinyl primer and vinyl die that should help match the color. I also have a broken visor retainer, the part next to the rear view mirror. Do you have the dual AC setup? I have found several grilles for the non-dual AC, but none for the dual AC.

Just checked - 10400366 discontinued. None in the dealer locator chain or Vintage.

Ambient light right, radiant heat left, cabin air temp by the key... I think...
