Just bought mine a few weeks ago and have been reading the forums ever since I love this site and so much info. Ive always owned a mustang and figured why spend so much money and modify the hell out of it and still its a mustang. I love my vette and the other vette owners know what I mean. I was iffy on spending so much on a toy, but after reading reviews about the car and everyone saying get it, you wont regret it, I couldnt resist. Im 29 by the way. Keep waving fellas
I am having second and third thoughts on my purchase now. It seems my car is one of those with the electricl grimlens. I've been chasing my tail trying to figure it out. I do love how the car runs and drives, but am wondering if I'll ever get all the bugs out of it.

What's it doing? Lot's of knowledgeable and helpful folks here.
I've wanted a vette vert my whole life, but just never pulled the trigger. I've been going back and forth between two differant cars. 1 was a 01 Red/black top with several mods. Headers, cold air, exhaust, cam, cold air hood. Way too fast for me, though. 2. 99Silver/black top all stock except for wheels, cat back magna flow. 99 was in pretty good shape, needs a left door module and visors. I'll pick it up thursday, can't wait. I've always had Trans Ams, still have the 77 that I bought in 1980, only has 59000 miles on it now. I just sold my 92 Grand Am tube chassis drag race car, 650hp 406 sbc in it and bought this vette. Man am I excited, and I'm 61 years old. Just like a kid in a candy store. Now if the da-ed snow would just go away.
today is better than yesterday but not as good as tomorrow - here's to many tomorrows.
I had just turned 64 when I bought my 2nd vet, a 2000, Torch Red, 6 speed convertible with 11,800 mile on it. I couldn't ba any happier with my choice. Hope I have much better luck with this than I did with the 74 vet purchased in 79; worst car I have ever owned.
