I have the BFG KDW2 on mine and I love them. everyone complains about the road noise, but I can't hear them at all over my exhaust.

I have been running Generals on mine for almost 2 years now. This is my daily driver, and they have about 25k miles on them. The fronts still have a bit of tread left, but the rears will probably need replaced in about 5k miles or so. I will buy them again, and have been very happy with my purchase.

Time for new tires on my 02 C5 after 62K miles, yes 62000 miles in So Cal, on the now discontinued BFG G Force KDW's. Very satisfied with that tires' grip, durability and pretty low road noise.

I just got delivery of Firestone Indy 500 Wide Ovals from Tire Rack. About $600 total, with delivery. The reviews look good, and the price was right. The rubber look real meaty. I'm expecting a good performer.

I originally planned to get the General's- very good reviews and about the same price as the Firestones. However the larger rear tires, 275 40 18's, were unavailable at Tire Rack, as of last week, and there was no commitment about when they would be delivered.
