It was pretty easy, the prep was the longest parts. I would wash them twice, then when they dried I used the scotch brite pad to scuffed them, then used the scotch brite pad with soapy water to scuff and clean, then washed and rinsed

That looks really good.
Looks a lot more aggressive in all-black.

I feel the opposite. The wheels and tires now look like one big black blob with no detail. I'm no fan of the fairly recent black wheel trend.

Mine only look like a blob in the pics. My wheels had a gloss black center and they def show more detail now in semi gloss. Look at the pic of them in primer the lines are way more defined. They did take way better pics in gloss than they do now in satin

I think they look great! Much better than before, are those Nitto tires? Also, what wheels are those?

They are Toyo R888's 315/30/18 on 18x10.5 knock offs from O.E. wheels. Fronts are 17x9.5's My rims were under $600 shipped

One "nay" sayer out of the bunch is not bad! The overall concensus is "Good Job"... I too am running black Blob's on my Z as well...

Man I like the black spiders, that's the first time I've seen them on a C5 Z. I'm also curious to how the new black grandsport wheels would look like

I've really been thinking about doing this. But seeing what options I have in a Charcoal or Dark Graphite color (my z is EB). Also really love the spiders....the Repros are just so heavy

Silver wheels on yellow? That's not something I like, IMO if the wheels on a yellow car aren't black then they need to be Chrome or polished
