Mine has a great shine too! Oh wait, that's because I washed and waxed it last November and it hasn't been out since. Ugh. Winter sucks.

I love the look of a Corvette first thing after a good cleaning. I find that every single time after I wash I'm inclined to snap a few pics lol.

+1 but an article in Road & Track magazine, 20+ years ago said to NEVER use wax; just a car "polish". Don't remember the exact wording but claimed that "wax" eventually breaks down the pigment in the paint or something like that.
