It seems like during hard acceleration and hard braking my C5 is pulling to the right. It is most noticable during braking.
Any ideas of where to look?
Could be a sticking caliper. I'd pull the front calipers and grease the pins really good and the parts of the caliper that the pads slide on. I actually had this same problem on mine. Would pull hard to the left when I got on the brakes.
If it's pulling to the right under braking, it would be the left caliper that's not giving the full clamping load. If it's pulling to the right under accel, it means the right front probably isn't releasing all the way.
So, I'd pull both fronts and grease the pins and points where the pads slide. Also, check your brake lines to make sure they are still good. Could be a bad hose that's causing it.
4 wheel alignment is in order - if there is a problem then they will find it and let you know what needs to be replaced - if not then a pot hole hit hard enough can throw things out of alignment!

Uhh, I wouldn't grease the points where the pads slide.
Just kidding, but I assume your talking about where the pads slide in and out on the metal clips. Don't grease the rotors!!
Many years ago the young kid a couple of doors down had just gotten his first car, a Mustang. When he drove it the brakes squealed. Having been told that when things squeal they need to be greased, he greased the brakes. Oh my, was his father unhappy about having to replace the brakes on the car. The kid was lucky. He did not hit anything with his car

Usually the problem you are experiencing is caused by a collapsed brake hose or one going bad. Inside a brake hose there is actually two hoses. The inner one sometimes ruptures causing the brake fluid not to fully flow back to the brake caliper when releasing your brake pedal so when you are braking again it will cause the oposite side of the car to pull to that side when braking. I had the same problem on one of my C-3's I owned many years ago. If I remember correctly it was the drivers side front brake hose that was bad causing the car to pull to the right.
