Bitten by the mod bug
So I did a vararam and slp catback. Easy, fun nice to have a bit more power. But I want to overcome the shortfalls of the car and make it more enjoyable. So at Carlisle 2010 I started my shopping and now all this stuff has piled up. So a few weeks ago I put her up on stands to do winter maintenance (done) and got started here's the list followed by some I progress pics.
1. Decelarotors
2. MRR GT5 wheels with Michelins
3. Red calipers
4. Insulation kit from Madvette (took 3 Mos to get, but nice+ cheap)
5. Custom leather seats
6. Double Din bezel w/ Kenwood from Double D. (note here- Dennis at Double D is a busy guy. His work is great and prices fair. It took many many months to get this bezel done how I wanted and I'm still gonna mod it myself somemore. He just didn't seem to understand what I wanted even with a pic of exactly what I wanted. That said- he has been there every step and been very helpful. I will order from him again)
Bezel has custom iPod/iPhone dock, eliminated ashtray replaced with smoothed cubbyhole hole with USB and aux power under lid. (not done yet)
7. Backup camera, bluetooth,etc
8. Some underhood dressup- nothing too loud- still want to see that beautiful motor!
Lots of other stuff planned, but this is what I'm doing now. Heres some in progress photos:
This is how the bezel came from Dennis, but I molded the ashtray area into a cubby hole (no holes) and added a USB input for the Kenwood plus I recessed the iPhone mount hole. - more Pics to follow.

I have the same kit from Madvette, however I have not installed it yet. How long did it take to pull everything out, install the kit and then reinstall?

1. The carpet feels nice and plush!
2. It CAN'T hurt!
This weekend I hope to get the stereo wired and more parts off to the painter. I'll take her off the stands and cruise around some. I want to have her ready to drive so my folks can take a ride while they're here next week. Their poor baby is still in storage for the winter in Syracuse- but here in VA we've been riding our dirtbikes!
Overall, following Madvette's guide with pics it took me about 8 hours. I only had help for the last hour, my son helped handing menpieces of tape. I used 2 full rolls of tape. I had about 6" left!
So- I've never really done much interior work, much less stripping an entire interior out of a sports car, but I'd say it was pretty easy.
I've got my new wheels in the garage and ordering my Michelins this week. Hopefully SLP long tubes with high flow cats by this fall with another ECS tune....enjoy for awhile, get anxious...supercharge!!!
That's the plan anyhoo. Just gotta convice that woman that lives with me!

Looks great
