Default Hatch Vents - Anyone Using Them?

I was looking for opinions from anyone using a hatch vent on their C5. I wanted to get something to help reduce the wind turbulence with the roof off when on the highway and stumbled on this...

http://www.corvettegadgetman.com/products4.html

Doing a search yielded nothing. Any opinions and feedback would be greatly welcomed.

Thanks

Some forum members will say "NO." They aren't too aesthetic, and they might create pressure/stress points in the hatch where they go.

I've used mine a few times and they do reduce wind buffeting somewhat, best with the windows up. It looks kinda odd with the hatch standing open a couple of inches but no one has commented on it.

sounds like it would work great aside from the new rattling noise youre probably going to experience from the movement of the hatch on the vent brackets. and as stated above it would look a little odd while driving, and I kinda want my vette to look as sexy as possible at all times

I don't know about the ones in the link, but I have a set of the Vent Masters I ordered from MAM http://www.mamotorworks.com/corvette?frame=1.644
They slip in easy, and I don't notice any rattling.

I have a set and have used them a few times. Keep them in a rear compartment otherwise. Seem to work pretty good, lot less turbulence.

I have the Vent Master. Used a few times but not in the last few years. Yes cuts down turbulance with the roof off but I agree doesn't look quite right. You want mine? Send me a pm and I'll get it off in the mail to you -free, I'll even pay postage. If you want to know what they look like look them up in the MidAmerica catalog website. Oops - just noticed you're across the border...offer still stands.

My cousin had those for the 99 coupe he used to have and he used them a lot. I haven't tried them.

I've got a set that I bought for my '98. I never used them so they're still in the original package and the car is gone. If anyone wants them, they're available. Not free, but for $25.00 I'll mail them, too. PM please.
