Just wondering if I'm an atypical owner. Since mine isn't my every day car and it is pretty heavily modded, I've been averaging between 1500-3000 miles/year. I've been emmissions exempt for the past 2-3 years. Just wanted to know how many road warriors are out there.
My 97 was a daily driver, but when I bought my new Tahoe, then got my new Z06, I didn't have to drive the Z daily. I like be able to rip into it over a weekend and not have to rush to put it back togther to go to work during the week. The first month I took it on a long bussiness trip to D.C. and put over 3,500 miles on it. Since I got back to Tampa the weathers been so crappy I've put less then 50 miles on it. As soon as all these hurricanes clear I'll be driving it much more. I like having it as a second car, but I don't plan on letting it gather dust in the garage!
I tried to get a poll going with this but I took to long. Got a message that "you can only post a poll within 5 min of posting topic". Ohh well it was my first poll. I tried.
I try to drive mine at least once per week if not more. Mine is not a daily driver and so far I have not driven it in the rain. I average about 2,000 - 2,500 per year. It is nice to have a car like this to take to work on Fridays or when you can't resist the urge when the sun is shinning. Love this car!

I've put 46,000 miles on mine in a little over 2 years. I have an old Blazer to drive when the weather is crappy, but unless the forecast is for snow or it's over 50% chance of rain, I usually drive the vette.
Daily driver but this is the only car I have ever felt guilty about driving every day. It is hard to drive anything else though when you have a Vette in the garage.

I put 14.2K miles on her in 12.5 months. It would have been more, but I also drive my Volvo S80 which got about 9K miles in the past 12 months. Considering making my Vette a true daily driver (only 4 out of 7 days on avg right now).

it's too much fun to let it sit in the garage
Yep; as long as it's not gonna sit in parking lot somewhere for 8 hours with water spots on it, drive it.
I drive mine every couple of days. I would think that I'll average about 6K a year. I really enjoy saving the driving for the weekend though. I'm up at 5 in the morning, back at home from work by 5:30 and in bed by 9 so there isn't a whole lot of time to drive mine in between errands and keeping up with a house by myself. I look forward to driving it all week.
Mostly on weekends when the weather is good. I bought my '04 in July of last year and just turned 6800 miles. I guess I don't take it out enough. Thanks for reminding me.
