c2105c right front tpm sensor malfunction
You can goggle C5 corvette dic codes and it will give you a complete list. I printed the complet list and keep it in the car. That way if something happens, you will know where to start looking. Also, the c stands for current issues and the h stands for history or past issues.
The C2105 should be easy. Are you getting XXX on the DIC for that TPS? If so the battery is on its way out. A straight TPS swap should fix it. I just picked one up at Baeur Millet from their obsolete stock. Not sure if they have any more though.
The 0171/0174 is harder. I've known a loose petrol cap or a bad seal on the cap to cause issues like that. Worth a check first.
From the service manual there are a few simple things to check:
Check the vacuum hoses and connections for splits or kinks.
Top up the tank to make sure its not a low fuel pressure issue.
Check the crankcase ventilation system for leaks.
Check the intake manifold and air induction system for leaks
If its still set you're into more complex checks.
Just out of interest have you modified the engine/headers/exhaust?
I used to occasionally get the 0171/0174 codes-tightened all the clamps on the CAI,and haven't had one since (the clamp on the throttle body was a little loose,I think that one was causing the codes, but since I tightened them all I can't say for sure)
Either way,it's a 5 minute thing to do,so you might as well give it a shot....
I have shorty BBK headers, UD pulley, CAI, Jetflo MAF, Borla, and Hypertech Programmer. Gonna check for air leaks in the CAI.
With all those mods it makes it harder to track down and it's outside my level of expertise I'm afraid. Checking for leaks is a good start. 8vette7 knows his stuff so you have a good guy on the case
Okay so I couldnt figure out how to get rid of the codes. I looked everywhere under the hood for any split/crack hoses but no luck. After all that I finally decided to switch my MAF sensor back to stock. And ALL THE CODES DISAPPEARED! Thanks for all the help.
