Default C5 Bose Radio *****

I see posts all the time from folks who have lost or broken their C5 Bose Radio *****. I have been there myself.

So I did some searching and here are the AC Delco part numbers. Just search Google shopping for the part numbers.......but be ready for price shock as most are about $10 EAC

AC Delco 16195412 Small tone control *****

AC Delco 16195410 Volume, power ****

AC Delco 16189159 **** behind the volume ****

AC Delco 16195409 - Tuning Control ****

I found them from several vendors, the pic is from PartsTrain

I'm just happy to see them available at any price. All my little ones are splitting/cracking.

Thanks, I bookmarked this for future use.

I got the grooved ones. They have a black rubber ring(s) that goes around the larger *****, makes is easy to touch and control without smudging them.

When installing make sure the sleeves from the original ***** comes off so the new ones will slide right on the posts.

These look nice. Any chance of getting a side photo that shows the rubber grips a little more?

Thanks!

Those look nice. They just push on? The ones I have now require an Allen wrench to install/remove.

Push right on! They have their own sleeves inside to grab the posts. Get Down!

To make this as simple as possible finding these billet ***** I listed the two sites below. The original person above never listed where to purchase and after a lot of time searching the web I found them.

eBay; C5 Corvette Billet Radio *****, Item number 122187177882

Zip Corvettes; 05-13 Polished Aluminum Climate Control *****, item number X-2384
From what I read here the 05 will fit if you remove the sleeve.

The Zip 05-13 have to be modified to fit the C5 radio shafts. I cut the original centers out the *****. Drilled 1/2" hole for one center insert(left) and 3/4" hole into the chrome **** for the other(right). I used J-B Weld to glue them in and they work great.
